Guidance on Face Masks part 2

Following yesterday’s guidance regarding face coverings it is necessary to make a change. The use of disposable facemasks is not sustainable in the long term due to a variety of factors, this morning we have had to provide over 400 disposable face masks.

From Wednesday September 16th students will be allowed to wear their own reusable facemasks providing they meet the following guidelines;

PE NoticeYear 8 forms D/A/G/E need to come into school in their PE kit on Tuesday 8th September.All other year groups and forms do not have PE on their first day of school so should come to school in their normal uniform. PE (Autumn ½ term 1) Due to coronavirus the PE department has the following control measures in place to keep pupils and staff safe. Pupils will be taught Athletics/Cricket/Rounders until the government guidance allows team sports. Pupils will be taught outdoors wherever possible to allow social distancing and will remain in their bubbles. Any equipment will be cleaned at the start and end of each lesson.Pupils should attend school in their PE kit on the days that they have PE as the changing rooms will not be used.- Red Dagenham Park T-shirt - Black shorts or jogging bottoms- Trainers- In cold weather a black jumper can be worn.Thank you and we will keep you updated with any changes to these procedures as and when these happen. ...
